Favorite Green Smoothie Recipe
Here's my favorite green smoothie recipe made with a fantastic Blendtec Blender. The beauty with green smoothies is you can add whatever fruits or veggies you enjoy most, or have on hand. By packing in all of those yummy nutrients, you can easily refuel your body with a lot of goodness all at once. I love to use a mason jar so I can put on a lid and take it on the go. With a little bit of planning, you can keep most of these ingredients stocked in your kitchen, and ready at any time.
Ingredients needed:
1 cup water
1/2 cup greek yogurt (or 1/2 cup almond milk or 1/2 cup ice cubes)
1/2 cup blueberries
3/4 cup strawberries
3/4 cup mangos
2 tbsp walnuts
1 to 1 1/2 bananas
2-3 cups spinach
Blend together until smooth. Pour in your favorite cup and enjoy cold. I love using mason jars, because I can pop a lid on and take it with me on the go. Green smoothies are perfectly refreshing after workouts, help get your day started right, or a great snack to give you a bit of energy.
